The Seva Vanitha Movement carries a long history. This is an organization which is free of communal, religious, linguistic caste or political differences. It has been and is a pleasure to serve in it as an active member and as its president, having joined it in 1994. The experience I have gained from these activities is the ability to identify the capability, inspiration and the talent found in women.
A woman is an important factor in the society. That is also why the motto conveying the theme "Let us protect her as a mother" was created. The Seva Vanitha Movement is at present entrusted with a greater responsibility than in the past.  That is, the safeguarding of the future of mothers of the heroic sons and wives of fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the country.
